HI: Fan Edition!

 HI: Fan Edition

One final Hello Internet episode, made by the fans.

The Challenge:

For you, Tim, to record 10-15 of Hello Internet with you and a mate.

  You have three options.

      1. To impersonate Grey and Brady, and record and episode of HI with you and a

friend acting as them. You are Grey and Brady. Like an actor in Broadway play.

      2. To parody Hello Internet. You are exaggerated versions of the pair.

      3.  You have been hired by Grey Industries to replace Grey and Brady as hosts of

Hello Internet. The weight of Hello Internet rests on your shoulders.

Make sure to include lots of corners and bits whichever you choose!

A non-comprehensive list can be found here

If you haven't listened for a while, give a few episodes a re-listen!

Feel free to do your own special episode as well. Star Wars special (maybe the Mandalorian) would be

exciting. Creativity is welcomed!

But I haven't got any friends who listen to Hello Internet!

You would be surprised how willing your family/friends might be to listening to a few episodes

of Hello Internet. If they're into it, ask them to record 10 minutes with you as Grey!

Hopefully this project can serve as a final salute to the podcast we loved.

This Project closes for new submissions January Twenty-Fifth 2021

At the end I will stitch together everything and publish HI: Fan Edition

Also, keep it as safe for work as HI was.

TECH QUESTIONS:

 -----------------------------------

    I don't have a podcasting mic?

The microphone on Apple's Dirtybuds has really good quality. If you don't have that,

a phone held a couple feet from your face should be good.

How do I record with a friend I can't have come over?

Download Zoom on your phone/PC, podcast through there, and record with Zoom's built in

record function. Download Zoom onto your computer and get the audio files through there. Tutorial

How should I record with two people in the same room then?

That's tougher. Either record through one mic/ phone on table if it sounds okay, but if you

need two mics, sync up the audio tracks in post in Audacity.

    How do I edit?

You don't have to edit, but if you feel the urge to cut something out, Audacity is free and good.
