I'm going to be a proud papa! A link to the live report will be on this page as soon as it's available.

I have no idea why they would do this.
The Tree, planted from Sapling last summer, is already showing signs of life. My grandmother had (inexplicably) pruned the top of the sapling last summer. It is doing well however, and is budding well. Its pot is probably not big enough for it at this point, but I don’t have a suitable place for it on my property. I looked in to donating to my High School’s native plant garden last year, so maybe I could put it there this year. Or perhaps I could find a suitable spot on the walkway to my school, and place a few bricks around where I plant the tree so it doesn’t get mowed over. Paw Paw Trees are supposed to have particularly brittle taproots, so moving it would be challenging.
Incredible perspective from this article about how shifting the whip pressure to the minority on a cloture votes could let minor legislation pass.
This was taken from one of my weird side projects. There seems to be no English-Hamer dictionary in all of the internet, so I made one. This is translated from a Spanish-Hamer dictionary. Also useful is this phonetic dictionary

Senatorial rules are the worst. They're decided by the majority, so it's always a weird game to try to give the best political situation to the majority.
My crazy idea is to have rule changes only take effect after 4 years. That way the majority wouldn't senselessly give themselves more power because they might be the minority when the rules come to effect. Emergency rule changes could come into effect immediately with 2/3 of the Senate.
